Born and raised in Colorado, I grew up skiing the slopes of Aspen Highlands, discovering a love for fresh tracks and crisp mountain air that still calls me back whenever possible. My formative years were spent at a small charter school where, unexpectedly, I fell into theater. Playing the White Rabbit in Alice in Wonderland taught me that stepping outside your comfort zone can reveal talents you never knew you had.
Looking for broader horizons, I headed to boarding school in New Hampshire. Those years introduced me to classmates from around the globe and fundamentally shifted how I see the world. Later, I earned my degree in economics from the University of Colorado, Boulder, laying the groundwork for my current role in corporate finance consulting.
Today, I’m based in New York City, advising clients across the tech, energy, and retail sectors on complex valuation, tax, and strategic matters. I’ve developed a particular affinity for building advanced Excel models (automating them with VBA was a game-changer), dissecting business verticals for M&A prep, and translating intricate financial stories into clear narratives that drive decisions.
Beyond spreadsheets and pitch decks, I’m a firm believer in staying curious, humble, and willing to tackle the uncomfortable questions — whether that’s probing a client’s assumptions or rethinking my own goals. I started this site to chronicle some of those ideas and hopefully connect with others who see work and life as an evolving adventure.
